Prayer Warriors:

Can you believe it has been 1 year since Caitlin received her new heart. She just returned from Cincinnati after her first annual biopsy. It was a successful one at that. She has been reduced to only 5 medications per day. She no longer has to wake up at 11 p.m. for medications. She is a picture of health indeed.

I was able to visit with Caitlin and her family at D.I.'s. She seems to enjoy life in Louisiana. She's now taking dance lessons with her sister Corinne. Amanda is now a nurse at Acadian Medical Center in Eunice, LA. Cory is an international pilot for Delta Airlines. The family seems happy to be "home."

Here are a few pictures I snapped during our visit:

Corinne, Madison (my daughter), and Caitlin had fun dancing to Cajun music.

Prayer Warriors:

Caitlin recently visited Cincinnati for her 2nd annual biopsy around her 6th birthday. Below you can see pictures of her for her birthday in front of River Road along with a picture of her in front of the Cincinnati Children's Commemorative quilt. The quilt hangs in the Children's Hospital with bears dressed in the children's likes at the time of heart transplant. Caitlin was in to Spider Man. I made her pajamas and gowns. I used the scraps to make her bear outfit. Her nanny, Shannon, monogrammed the bear's blanket. Her checkup went very well. She will be in Kindergarten at St. Francis in a couple of weeks.

Thank you everyone for the prayers!
